Virus or no virus, I had to see B30-7 No. 8272 and snap a photo with the locomotive. Now a little dirtier and worn down again from sitting outside at the museum for a couple of years (it didn’t help it was overcast that day). The Lakeshore Railroad HS and Museum in North East, PA (not far from historic Presque Isle, and Erie, PA), had not reopened yet, but you could still park your vehicle and snap some photos or watch some trains. I just so happened to run into a gentlemen that advised me CSX ‘Spirit of Law Enforcement‘ engine was leading a consist East-bound in a few minutes. He had driven all the way from Ashtabula, OH (where I had stayed two nights before). Sure enough, 10 minutes later, we got treated to that. I have posted a few recent photos for everyone to check out. All three of my daughters were with me that day, and when we pulled up, they were like: ‘Wow Dad! A real Chessie System train‘

On that note, I believe that we, CSHS members, should be reaching out to Lake Shore RR Museum to help protect 8272 from further wear of the sun and weather.
